1. The Basics

We do not sell data. We do not track you across the web.

2. What We Collect

• Email Address: Required to notify you of matches.
• Sex/Gender (Male / Female / Don't Answer): Used strictly for matching logic.
• Funny Answers: Used to calculate compatibility.
• Log Files: Our servers (located within the EU) log your IP address for security reasons. These logs are deleted automatically.

3. Hosting (EU Only)

🇪🇺 Your data stays in Europe. We use a hosting provider located in the EU.

4. Cookies

We use one strictly necessary session cookie called __session. It is set when you log in via a magic link and is used solely to keep you authenticated during your session.

• Purpose: Authentication only — to remember that you are logged in.
• Duration: Expires when your session ends or you log out.
• Tracking: This cookie is not used for any tracking, analytics, or advertising purposes.
• Third parties: This cookie is not shared with any third party.
• Legal basis: Strictly necessary (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — the site cannot function without it. No consent is required under Directive 2009/136/EC.

We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. No third-party cookies are set on this site.

5. AI Image Generation

Your profile answers are processed by Google Vertex AI (EU infrastructure) to generate your avatar image. This processing is a core part of the service. No identifiable personal data is embedded in the image.

6. Data Retention After Deletion

When you delete your profile, your account data is removed from our active database. However, messages you have sent may persist transiently in other users' chat histories and in short-term backups before being purged (typically within 30 days).

7. Your Rights

You have the right to ask what we know about you (Access) and the right to disappear (Deletion). Click "Delete My Profile" in settings, and your data is wiped instantly.
